Safe and Secure Buildings
At Nakruma Childcare Center, safety begins before you enter our schools. Each building has a locked front door with a
keypad. Families and staff may only enter with an individualized code that is unique to each school. These codes are
changed on a regular basis, and additionally as needed.
Classroom Monitoring and Management
At Nakruma Childcare Center, safety is our priority. We have security cameras in all classrooms, outdoor play areas, entrances, and building exteriors.
Each school follows a customized Emergency Preparedness Plan, regularly reviewed and updated for maximum protection.
On-Site Safety Monitor
At Nakruma Childcare Center, safety goes beyond physical security. Each school has a dedicated safety monitor who oversees the facility,
conducts fire and tornado drills, inspects playground equipment, manages incident reports, ensures first aid supplies are stocked,
and monitors food restrictions to keep every child safe.
Highly Trained and Qualified Staff
At Nakruma Childcare Center, every employee undergoes comprehensive background checks before starting. Our staff is trained
in first aid and CPR and receives ongoing health and safety training to ensure the well-being of every child in our care.
Safe Sleep
At Nakruma Childcare Center, we follow strict safe sleep guidelines. Infants are placed on their backs in cribs without bumpers,
blankets, pillows, or toys. Toddlers and older children rest on cots with blankets from home, ensuring age-appropriate and
safe naptime practices.
